Welcome!!!

Hello!! So I decided to make a blog for my fellow phans (or you) of Yeston and Kopit's Phantom. For those of you who don't know what Yeston and Kopit's Phantom is, it is another musical version of Gaston Leroux's Phantom of the Opera. It is nothing like Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom, nor is it anything like the other versions. It's plot is very different from all the other Phantoms except for the miniseries version with Charles Dance and Teri Polo because it has the same book as the musical and written completely by the same author. The only thing the miniseries lacks is the beautiful music of Maury Yeston.
I have seen this show once. I remember leaving the theater practically weeping, but with tears of joy because of the beautiful music, and a wonderful story. I am going to go see this again in the near future at a local theater. I have no words to describe how excited I am!
The magnificent soundtrack is astounding from the glorious baritone voice of Richard White to the humorous, operatic, evil diva Madame Carlotta.
Act One has many tears of laughter, while Act Two has many tears of tragedy. If you have never heard of or seen this version of Phantom of the Opera, I highly and happily recommend it to you.

So about the blog, I am basically going to post the where abouts this show is playing. If you find information, your always welcome to email me, at phantom_that_haunts_the_opera@yahoo.com.
I might also add my own written reviews of the shows of this Phantom I see.
Thanks for checking out my blog!

P.S. I may also put in some Andrew Lloyd Webber too! But this blogs main focus is Yeston and Kopit's version.
